We recruit!

To become a PSL Referee, you should fulfill all of the following requirements:

- you are in the sauerbraten community for at least a year and know most of the habits/people/circumstances/structure
- you plan to stay in the sauer community for a long while
- you are very reliable and willing to spend the time to be there and help to ref games 2 sundays a month plus the time it takes to update the website, plan things, etc.
- you are known for acting rational and cool-headed and feel obliged to finding the fairest of all solutions in general
- you speak english fluently(!), (german would make things easier, but is not necessary)
- you are willing to use mumble (audio chat) and IRC
- you are willing not to play in PSL anymore as the job requires just this
- you have absolutely no history of cheating yourself and share our aversion to any kind of cheats
- you are willing to guarantee that you will keep any knowledge thats releated to our anti-cheat measures confidential and therefore give us your real life identity (so will we!).
- optional: you know (a bit) about C++ and/or website programming and are willing to help on this front too

We plan to have live audio comment during the games that enables all specs to tune in and listen to a stream during the games. To become a PSL live reporter, you should fulfill the following requirements:

- native english
- all technical requirements, like headset, reliable computer and reliable internet-connection
- you have been around a while, know a good lot about the game, are willing to research even more, talk to players, etc and watch whats going on on IRC.
- you are willing to talk for the necessary time about the game, what's going on, what has happened in the sauer community for the last week(s), who the players are, what and how they trained (all this means you would have to spend a little time during the weeks without the games to collect info, but we would help you and create a place for everyone to drop info too)
- this is supposed run without much beeing influenced by us at all - we would only want it to be serious and reliable so we feel well providing the link to it.
- you should in any case be either neutral or really equally unfair/fair in your comments to all clans/players (!)
- we believe it needs to be a team of 2 or 3 people so its made sure at least on is gonna be there but you may prove us wrong :-) - you may apply individually and we hook you up with whoever gets the job else, or apply as a team, just as you like.

Apply via email to giving your name, some reasons why you believe you are just the right one and: a min 30 seconds, max 1 minute audio commentary to an imaginary game of two widely known characters (for whichever reason) like eihrul vs VR1 or Ogro vs Snout10k (your choice). Don't include it in your email, upload it in .mp3 or .ogg-vorbis to a page like senduit.com and just provide the link.
